Sloways was an opportunity to create a beautiful natural soundscape of the east coast at sunset.
We evoked a sense of serenity with a harmonious layering of crickets, frogs and birds weaving through a gentle ambience. The music tapped in to the idea of a slow simplicity. We close mic’d a gorgeous old piano so you could hear the texture of the felt and keys whilst playing a sparse, delicate melody. This was then filtered in to the scene as a backdrop for our slow-dancers.
