After managing some of Sydney’s top hatted restaurants, Dexter traded in his corkscrew for a set of headphones at Rumble Studios.
Graduating with First Class Honours in Music and Sound Design from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Dexter has established himself in the sound industry by contributing to a diverse range of projects including brand campaigns, short films, and multimedia installations, taking on both production and post-production roles.
Now fully immersed in the world of sound design, Dexter brings a blend of creativity, precision, and diverse life experience to every project he works on.

Modern life rarely stands still. Power plugs snap into place, exercise bikes spin relentlessly and everyday routines tumble into one another, each sound reinforcing the mounting pulse of the music. Fast, dynamic textures mirror the growing weight of financial pressure, building an exhilarating sense of momentum before giving way to a moment of unexpected stillness. Can’t afford to quit now!
Dusk into evening, and the beginning of true revelry. Delicate chimes, airy textures and the gentle sparkle of celebration weave through the film, carrying each moment from sun-drenched afternoon into the warmth of evening. Laughter drifts between clinking glasses, creating an abstract impression inspired by the feeling of reverie. Every detail reinforcing human splendour, leaving behind the lingering glow of a night well spent.
Hard work can be harder off the pitch. An injured Amy Sayer (Matildas player) is cast into an untamed seascape where towering waves, relentless winds and moments of quiet solitude mirror the challenge of rebuilding both body and spirit. The soundscape moves with her, shifting from isolation to determination as each obstacle overcome brings the distant roar of the stadium closer.
