We just love working with actor and voice artist Kelton Pell, and he is the poetry and the anchor to this spot that showcases some of Australia’s most memorable sporting moments.
We were fortunate to be able to use some of the iconic commentary linked to our history, but the sound design had to be created new, while sounding like a recording of the time. While the epic spotlight shines a light on the suburban parks and the famous footage, we used everything from an authentic V8 holden from the 80’s, recording cricket foley in the side alley and getting in the booth to add some fine detail to the boxing knockout.
But then, it’s all a support act to Kelton’s story telling.
