Telstra’s second “Wherever We Go” campaign was all about the characters that join Mick on his walk. We creating bespoke sounds for each of the character that joined the march, creating almost all the sounds from scratch. From the clink of the coffee cups the girl is holding at the cafe to the snap of a carrot for the skeleton as tips his head to the chickens. Even the banana splat was recorded specifically for the character. Using a wet car Chamois slapped against a marble table then squished and slapped against skin to make the sound of it standing and walking away.
